At Engage Therapy, our clinicians provide timely and holistic services to improve both physical and mental function of residents within care facility settings. This includes both mobility and cognitive assessments.
Our clinicians prescribe equipment such as properly fitting walkers, wheelchairs with appropriate seating, speciality mattresses to prevent pressure injuries, footwear to minimize falls, and lift or transfer devices.

Mobility Equipment Prescription
Our clinician completes an interview and analysis of an individual’s functional mobility needs. Discussions are had about mobility goals, identified issues and resources. Our clinician will make recommendations regarding properly-fitted mobility aids, including walkers and wheelchairs.
Functional Rehabilitation
Client‑centred and tailored to your loved one’s abilities, interests, and daily routines. Many experience thinking or memory changes, so we use meaningful tasks, familiar activities, and engaging strategies to promote participation. This may include singing or tap‑shoes.
