If you’ve been injured in an automobile collision, ICBC medical benefits may cover treatments such as physiotherapy and occupational therapy visits.

Office and industrial ergonomic assessments can benefit employers by reducing rate of worker turnover and injury rates. Consult with your employer if you believe you or your colleagues would benefit from a workplace assessment(s) or an education session.

Rebate for Accessible Home Adaptations (RAHA)

The BC Rebate for Accessible Home Adaptations (BC RAHA) is a rebate program. Eligible low and moderate income households can receive up to $20,000 in rebates to complete home adaptations. The program allows seniors and people with permanent disabilities or diminished ability to gain greater independence within their homes.

To be eligible, you must be a resident of BC with limited income and assets. You or someone in your household must have a permanent disability or loss of ability. The adaptations requested must support accessibility and promote continued safe and independent living in your home.

We accept funding through MCFD Autism Funding and the At-Home-Program. There may be financial assistance available through the charities below:

Variety Children’s Charity 

CKNW Kids Fund

Federal Disability Tax Credit

Jordan’s Principle: funding for children with Indigenous Status

Métis (Miyoopimaatishihk) Wellbeing Program  

SMILE Charity: Supporting racialized children and youth with disabilities and their families including immigrant and refugee families.

Bear Essentials (will fund equipment e.g. ipads for communication devices but will not fund therapies)

TLC fund – a local southern Vancouver Island charity for kids.  Will fund therapy or equipment.

Help Fill a Dream – will fund therapies for children with life-threatening or critical conditions 

Elks of Canada National Charity – specifically funds children with hearing and speech conditions
